ELECTION 2016: How to Decide Who to Vote for U.S. President

“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” —John Quincy Adams

Ask yourself some qualifying questions.
Who do you feel is a generally honest individual? Strong in character/morals? One that has been up front and honest about all aspects of their life, and past? One that has surrounded themselves with people that you can also respect and trust?

Read about their views on issues before they began campaigning for president.
Often, this is much more revealing of their true stance on issues than what they say during a campaign about their views on issues before they began campaigning for president.

Narrow down who you think has the knowledge and commitment to keep our country safe.
One that will support the people who have put their lives on the line, to see that people all around the world have the same opportunities that we are privileged enough to have. The privileges that our founding fathers worked so hard for us to have the opportunity to achieve.

Who do you think knows how to grow our economy?
Who will see that all people will have the opportunity to work hard, and become prosperous? Who will support what makes our country so great, the philosophy that if you choose to work hard, you will be rewarded for it!

Who in your heart do you feel honestly loves, and is proud of our great United States of America?
Who will be a good representative of our country?

The US President is the most powerful person in the world.
Consider foreign policy and the effect on the world. Which candidate has the most support globally?

Who says what they mean, and means what they say?
Who do you think is speaking from their heart, and truly cares about the welfare of all of the American people? Who cares more about their country than their desire to have the title of President?

Consider third party candidates.

“It’s better to vote for what you want, and not get it, than to vote for what you don’t want, and get it.” —Eugene Debs, 1912.

Who will be the next President?
Your vote counts. Take the time to join in one of your greatest, most important rights of being an American citizen. Vote your conscience–vote informed!
