The Game

trickster
watch every move
checkmate
reaching for my queen
bishop prays
next gift, the ace of spades
shall I start digging?

full deck,
use all your cards
pick the date
I am waiting
watching
the queen of hearts
dressed in black

one move left
pawns are useless
they can die
castle to keep,
the chamber loaded
roulette it is

Not that it matters
joker laughs
you forced my hand,
Royal Flush
we all fall down
