Blow (A Love Story)

Your eyes,
dark chocolate
melted and
mixed with sin.

Impetuous daring,
I slipped into
the bucket seat.

You said, Fasten your
seatbelt,
this will be the ride
of your life.

Charming,
sinister candor.
Boisterous bravado,
you
could give
not
one
fuck.

Daring, dashing,
insane.
Possessive.
I mean,
stalking me in a Learjet,
was over the top.

Feed me your
money.
Feed me your
diamonds.
Feed me your
drugs.

Digesting all of it,
with caviar and champagne.
Another line, a few pills,
it all felt Gatsby,
that summer we spent
in the Hamptons.

Give me more.
And you did.

So much more.
I was in a haze,
that lasted almost a year,
more or less.

You killed the pheasants,
with merciless
vengeance.
Turned me over,
took me.
Kept taking me,
only to laugh.
A secret recording,
made.

Give me more.
And you did.

Aspen called.
Pushed your way inside, the gold
plated elevator, the private
screening room,
in the master suite,
me.

Ecstasy laced with cocaine.
It went
on
and
on.
Ripped to shreds,
inside
and
out.

I knew.
I knew when you screamed.
I knew when you locked me in.
I knew that I was your prison doll,
a plaything.

What you did not know,
is that you would fall
in love
with
me.

Insatiable desire, clouded
your vision.

What I did not realize, was that
I held the key to my cage.
To be free of you,
I had to
break
you.

And I did.
