Originally from Columbus, Ohio, she holds a PhD from the Ohio State University where she wrote about publishing practices in early America. Her stories, poems, and essays have appeared in Eclectica Magazine, Tangled Locks Journal, Sky Island Journal, The Palisades Review, PopMatters, Oddball Magazine, 34th Parallel, America Magazine, Cultural Critique, and elsewhere. She works in the public health field.
