Katherine Wilkinson (she/they) is a Brooklyn based director, writer, and theatremaker reimagining classical texts and building new worlds for queer futures. She writes poems, performance texts, and essays - most of which deal with endurance, queer time, and the power of the middle class. Katherine is a faculty member at Columbia University School of the Arts and currently serves as Interim Head of Directing at Texas Tech University. She is the 2024 to 2026 Leader of the WP Directors Lab and a New Georges Audrey Resident. Her work has been developed with Ars Nova, HERE Arts, La Jolla Playhouse, and The Tank (among others).
