Rebecca Rogerson (she/her) is an anti-oppression-based scholar, author, and educator. She lived and worked in this capacity for two decades in South Africa, Botswana, and Tkaronto. She taught in the Social Service Worker Program at Seneca College for a decade. She has authored multiple editions of HDEV, a tertiary-level textbook, and co-authored a neuroscientific-based paper about altered states of consciousness. Rebecca has a Master's Degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on decolonization praxis. She lives with an invisible disability and finds solace in cultivating plant medicine and amateur opera singing. Rebecca channels her rage, despair, and healing efforts into creative writing and long walks on unceded Sinixt territory in British Columbia.
